Current progress and support

As of October 22, 2026, IEEE 802.11bn remains under development. Public demonstrations and chipset platform announcements exist, with capabilities varying by platform. They do not establish universal WiFi 8 feature support or final-standard certification. Widelantech capabilities, bands, performance and availability are subject to official specifications and validation.
